Hey y’all, now that the bar is over, we are back with some awesome food to show you! During bar prep Haris and I went to Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs with some great friends! This place is so cool. The menu is pretty straight-forward. You choose the type of meat hot dog that you want: Buffalo, pheasant/rattlesnake, reindeer, beef, etc. Then you choose the toppings you want and a side and BAM!

Everyone loved this place! Haris got a rattlesnake/pheasant hot dog and a side of chili. I truly dropped the bar on writing down everything we got to eat because we all wanted to dig in so quickly. Haris’s hot dog had crispy onions, green onions, and regular onions on it, but I couldn’t tell you what it actually was called. He loved it though and scarfed it down quicker than I’ve seen him ever do before.

Here was my hot dog! I was a little afraid to try anything too crazy so I got a southwest buffalo hot dog coney style (chili, onions and yellow mustard) with a side salad. This was great! I really enjoyed this hot dog… but what I enjoyed even more was the fries.

Haris ordered these fries and sat them in between us. I was trying to be good by eating the salad… but these were SO much better! The curly shapes helped keep them tender. You can tell a lot about a place by its french fries. My favorite french fries are thick and not too crunchy, which typically I can only get this type of fries at Red Robin or if I make them at home. For some reason people like shoestring fries or other crunchy fries…its quite disappointing.

Lastly, here is another picture of the amazing hot dogs. This is a great place to go and check out. When we went it wasn’t too busy, but we watched a ton of people filter in and then filter out while we sat and chatted so there is a chance this place will be packed! Nevertheless whether you are craving a hot dog or craving some adventure head to Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs.
